Many years ago, as small live venues in Hongdae and other areas were disappearing due to gentrification and other circumstances, we came together with friends to create Club SHARP to keep our scene alive. What started as a punk venue has grown into a space where musicians from many genres, painters, tattoo artists, and even pro-wrestlers gather together. This year marks our 10th anniversary. Thanks to your support, we’ve managed to stay in Mangwon for a decade under the name Club SHARP— even though every month and every year still feels like a challenge. To celebrate and say thank you, we’re hosting special shows every Saturday in April, each with a different concept.
